We are a discrete professional full service training entity. Our design is to meet the needs of individuals desiring to reinstate horses/ponies to a successful show life that have deviated from a once reliable way of going. Alternately we also train “unbroken” horses and ponies from start to a a desired level of finish for discriminating owners who seek to develop a mount with specific qualities and skills. Our business does not operate as a lesson or “show” barn outside of the intent to prepare the training horses. Professionals can comfortably send their client horses into training without concern of having their owners cannibalized into another program.

We work closely with trainers or owners, whichever is preferred, to meet the needs and expectations for the individual horse and pony. CMHP staff believe in a strong foundation of flat work and job related gymnastics with the requirement of respectful consideration to fragile humans. We believe this creates exceptional equine companions for a lifetime of happy outings. While we endeavor to create horses and ponies that will all go on to a completely successful career, occasionally our desire for them to be a champion surpasses theirs. This can be due to physical or mental limitations leaving them unsuitable for discipline that suits your animal and allows your horse or pony to thrive.
Artabella is a 5 year old, 16’1″, Grey Quarter Horse Appendix Mare and is in beautiful shape. She is brave and has no trouble with distances. She is in the ribbons, and at the Scottsdale in Pre-Green Hunters, and is starting the medal . Artabella has won the 3′ over fences in Hunters and Equitation. She is often a Champion/Reserve in the baby greens and is ready to go on with an amateur or junior.

Hunter is a 6 year old, Chest Nut Gelding, and he is very careful, brave, and quiet. Hunter is great indoors and outdoors, and a good mover. He was champion in Tri Colors in the Beg Open Division. Hunter was a Beginner Open Division in 2009. He will happily carry an amateur or a child.

Calvin is a 17 hand, 14 year old, Paint Gelding. He has no vices, no peak at the jump, and is always honest. He is a great first horse. He is a Been There Done That School Master. Calvin is a great medal, Hunters, or Jumpers at 3′ or less.

Dennis is a four year old, 15’3″ Black Thorough Bred Gelding. He is a good mover and is cute, sweet, and kind. He is well started over fences and lead changes. Dennis is very brave and he will be a fun and easy project to finish.

Peek-A-Boo is a 16′, Chestnut Appendix Quarter Horse Mare. She is a beautiful mover and has an excellent lead change. She is well started 2’9″-3′, very brave and willing. She is a hunter prospect, jumper, or even eventing as well.

She has skillfully carried a first show season junior to the top of the class, at High Prairie Children’s Jumpers. She has had great wins at Estes and every CHJA show she has attended this year.

Oriental Express is a 10 year old, Large Chestnut Pony. He has four stockings and is absolutely adorable. He is often the Model Winner and the Hack and is excellent shape over the fences. He qualified for the Pony Finals in 2010. Ori is has no vices, no quit, and is very sound and ready to show. Ori is a Model and Hack winner and has an excellent shape over the fences.
